The accident at Highland was mentioned and stated that although slow the insurance did pay the bill to repair the area. It was mentioned that Master Gardeners have a program to design areas and then volunteers could maintain them. Howard Leeb, member of MGA, will raise idea to next meeting of the MGA he attends. This will be studied by a committee and a poll will be posted on the Yahoo website to determine the neighborhood interest in such a plan.

10. Additional Discussion included

a. The Yahoo website is a private site for Kingswood Neighborhood residents only. If we want an additional website it would be public. Pete Barkalew and Debbie Helwig volunteered to begin working on another site.
b. A comment was made that a printed newsletter (The Kingswood Kapers) would be useful to those residents without email access. Debbie Helwig offered to help with that effort. Meanwhile, perhaps those with email could inform those who do not of events and issues.

c. Due to the recent thefts in the neighborhood it was suggested that Neighborhood Watch be investigated. There is a reverse 911 that the police department can use to inform folks of a theft or other disturbance. It was asked to check that out and report back.
