Hello, Neighbors...
I am writing to relay some information about Curbside Services, Inc. (CSI), a local sanitation service solely for our community. If we can get together and utilize this one quality service, we can minimize garbage truck traffic, unsightly dumpsters on our streets (all week long with multiple services), and help each other save money on these services as well. You can see who is participating at the bottom of this page.
If we could all agree to do this, our rates would be as low as $12.50 a month, AND we would all enjoy backdoor pickup for half the cost (normally $7.50/month extra). Imagine... 1. not having to take your trash cart to the street again (nor return it to the back); 2. not having to REMEMBER to take it to the street on pick-up days (with back-door service); 3. not seeing our streets littered with these huge canisters, except one day a week (if at all, with back-door services); and 4. not seeing and hearing those loud trucks all week long. I'm all for it!
Please understand, I am not asking for a survey or a vote, nor am I trying to promote one service for personal gain (I don't get a thing, except a lower rate with participation). I personally use this company because they are local, family operated, competitive, very professional and extremely personable (unlike some big corporate companies I've used). Their staff is always courteous and helpful. I know several other homeowners are using CSI as well, with great satisfaction and mutual referral.
What I'd like to suggest is that you look over the Rates below (and the following letter from Curbside Services, Inc). And, if you decide this is something you'd like to do, please call them at (706) 769-1822 to get your new service started - or to answer any questions you may have.
Below are the current Rates specifically for Kingswood, with various container options:
BACK-DOOR Service is $7.50/month extra - But, it's only $3.50 with 25% General Participation

As participation with CSI grows in Kingswood, we will all see a reduction in our rates (and exposure to trucks and trash bins). However, of course, there is no obligation to change. If you have another service that you are loyal to, you may: 1. Stay with them; and 2. Submit a proposal as to why we should all use that service, if you like. Also, due to gas prices, these rates will be subject to change. Regardless, we will all continue to save with growing participation.
