Kingwood Kapers kept us informed!

Before the Internet and email, there was the "Kingswood Kapers" newsletter that was distributed years ago. The picture on the left shows an issue dated April, 1993. To see a larger image, and read some of the text, click here, or on the picture itself.

We sincerely hope to get another publication going soon, perhaps a quarterly (Debbie Helwig volunteered to help with that). In the meantime, please use this web site and Join our Group Email List to stay informed... and tell your neighbor, who are without Internet, what's going on around here.

Annual Neighborhood Christmas Party is a HIT!

On December 3rd, 1993, all of the Kingswood Association members were cordially invited to the annual "Kingswood Christmas Dinner Dance" at Trumps Ballroom downtown. Anne Kotnick and Martha Newsome to be called for reservations.

The annual Christmas Dinner featured one of Trumps' finest buffets, along with delightful 'ballroom' dancing to the entertainment of a live DJ. Great fun was had by all!

Now this, my friends, is a tradition that we need to renew... So, let's start planning it for next year.

In the meantime, we're already discussing a Spring Bar-B-Q to be held at Timothy Road Elem. School, featuring the famous, slow-cooked chicken barbeque made by our own Rudy "Doc" Kagerer... so stay tuned to these pages!
Thanks for taking a look at us!
We hope you'll come back soon to see more!
